Philadelphia Eagles injury update: K’Von Wallace questionable with shoulder injury

PHILADELPHIA 2020--PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles safety K’Von Wallace is questionable to return to Sunday’s game against the Ravens with a shoulder injury, the team announced.

Wallace was injured in the first quarter when he upended Ravens punt returner James Proche on a punt return. Wallace’s right shoulder made contact with Proche’s lower body to flip the rookie wide receiver.

Wallace laid face down on the ground for a couple minutes while trainers tended to him. Eventually, the training staff rolled him onto his back and helped him up by his left arm. Wallace went directly indoors after the play and was holding his right arm still while walking into the tunnel.

Wallace, a fourth-round pick out of Clemson in April’s draft, had appeared in every game this season with one start. He entered Sunday with eight tackles on 47 defensive snaps. He had played 68 special teams snaps entering Sunday.

The Eagles are short-handed at safety with Marcus Epps (rib) inactive. Rodney McLeod, Jalen Mills and Will Parks, making his first appearance of the season after he was activated off injured reserve Saturday, started at safety. They are the only healthy safeties left on the roster.

The Eagles trailed the Ravens, 14-0, after the first quarter.
