Kodomo No Hi! Japanese Children's Festival, Saturday and Sunday, Noon -- 4 p.m.

Celebrate Kodomo No Hi, which is "Children's Day" in Japan. Write your name in Japanese calligraphy and construct simple origami. Create sumi-e paintings or festive carp banners throughout the day. There will be Kamishibai Story Telling, Taiko drumming performances, a martial arts workshop and flower arranging in an ikebana inspired art workshop. $15-$20. (included in admission price.) Family Fun Day at TooJay's Deli, Saturday, 8 a.m.

The fun begins at 8 a.m. with the first 25 guests in line receiving $25 gift cards and branded tumblers. Spin the prize wheel and enjoy lots of other activities throughout the day. The Color Run, Saturday, 7:30 a.m.

This 5K, untimed event douses runners from head to toe in different colored powders. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color.
