Check Out the Latest Changes to Diablo III

Also available for : PC, PS3

Blizzard's rune system for Diablo III always sounded cool, but there hasn't been much of an opportunity to check it out until recently. Runes, when unlocked and activated, change the functionality of the skill they're associated with. You can see exactly how it works in the video below.<br/><br/> <object id="vid_9c7419c41da040efe071ecfa864e7312" class="ign-videoplayer" width="467" height="263" data="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="movie" value=""/><param name="" value="true"/><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"/><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"/><param name="flashvars" value="url="/><param name="wmode" value="opaque"/></object> <div style="width:467px"><b><center>Diablo III Beta Patch 13 Commentary</b></center></div><br/><br/>For now there still isn't an exact release date for Diablo III aside from the expectation it'll be ready <b><a target="_blank" href="" target="_new">sometime in Q2 2012</b></a>, but considering Blizzard is not teasing further changes to its core gameplay systems, there's a chance we may hear about something soon.<br/><br/>And for more on what changed in the Diablo III beta's patch 13, you can check out our <b><a target="_blank" href="" target="_new">previous news story</b></a>. <br><br/><br/>&#169;2012-02-22, IGN Entertainment, Inc.
